Ultrasound diagnostics

This method of imaging diagnostics allows us to have a “look” beneath the skin into tendons, muscles, and accessible parts of joints in real-time. This means that X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, while very helpful when indicated, always show the condition in the past, at the time of the imaging. In contrast, ultrasound shows the current condition, and because of its availability and safety, it can be performed multiple times during the rehabilitation process to assess tissue condition and healing speed. We commonly use ultrasound as an integral part of orthopedic or physiotherapeutic examinations or as a method to monitor progress during physiotherapy interventions.
